Villa, Montauban with 3 bedrooms
Modern villa with a terrace and a large garage set on a 5,400 sq.m plot with mature trees located in a village of the Tarn and Garonne.
The property dating from 1982 was built in a traditional way ensuring it was in keeping with other older farmhouses of the area. Offering around 150 sqm of habitable space it consists of a fully fitted kitchen, 3 bedrooms and on the first floor a play room which could easily be converted into another bedroom with en-suite as it has its own water supply.
The house surrounded by 5,400 sq.m of land with mature trees also comes with a large garage of around 75 sq.m and a covered terrace. This property is well priced for a quick sale and would make an ideal property for anyone looking for an investment, holiday home or permanent home as it is close to both the towns of Toulouse and Montauban.
Montauban is a busy market town spread over both banks of the River Tarn. Built as a fortified town in the 12th century it was converted into a protestant stronghold during the religion wars. The present town has 17th century buildings and most of the houses are built in the distinctive pink brick which may be seen throughout the town. The Pont Vieux which spans the Tarn with seven arches dates from the 14th century, near the bridge is one of the town’s most important buildings: the Ingres Museum which contains drawings by Ingres and works by the sculptor Bourdelle. Local activities include water parks, quad biking, horse riding, canoeing, ballooning, flying and rafting. The Pyrénées mountains are about 90 minute’s drive away with its beautiful villages, scenery and skiing in winter.
