The beautiful medieval town of Dinan nestles on a hillside overlooking the River Rance, and is still largely surrounded by its ancient fortified walls. Today Dinan property can be found in a lively and bustling town that is uniquely picturesque with its ancient buildings and winding, narrow streets. Many of the modern facilities, such as schools, hospitals and supermarkets are on the outskirts of the town, and therefore easily accessible both from Dinan property in the heart of the town and from the surrounding villages.

The Cote d’Armor is known for its spectacular beaches, which are within easy reach of any Dinan property, and 350km of coastline, including the famous Pink Granite Coast. Inland, the River Rance winds through wild countryside dotted with granite boulders, through meadows, and past sleepy villages and the historic town of Jugon-les-Lacs, which itself is situated on the banks of a huge 70 hectare lake. Watersports are often popular with owners of Dinan property, with many opportunities for sailing, boating and windsurfing, to name but a few, and some of the best fishing opportunities in the region.
